For I have attained the heights, I have been made new, I have exchanged the mortal for the Immortal...I have become a Vampire. You are probably thinking that I am lying, some strange poseur of whom there are so many on the internet. You are right to wonder, for there are many teachers of falsehood around, as there have ever been. I can do little but reassure you that I have found the way to eternity. I can promise that YOU will be able to join me there, if you so wish.

My Sire is wonderful, and he waits for those who would gain Immortality. He is the First, ancient beyond comprehension, and yet he seeks friends and companions from among mortals. You do not have to pay a terrible price for his favour...
